Amado Nervo

Mexico, 1870–1919. Poet and diplomat, one of the most widely read voices of modernismo. His late poetry, serene and almost religious, traded the glitter of his beginnings for the clarity of a reckoning. He died while serving as minister in Montevideo. His work is in the public domain.
