Cecco Angiolieri

Italy (Siena), c. 1260 – c. 1312. A comic and burlesque poet, a contemporary and rival of Dante; his sharp, desperate verse sings of wine, money, women and hatred of his parents. 'S'i' fosse foco' is his most famous sonnet. His work is in the public domain.
